        How I Got Here

        Education and Experience

I hold an MFA from the American Conservatory Theatre where I was also a company member. Following my time there, I embarked on a 25 year career in Los Angeles on stage, television and film, including creating, producing and starring in the Starz Network's single-camera comedy "Hollywood Residential." I'm an award-winning commercial director with clients such as Volkswagen, MasterCard, Lenovo, Swiffer and Caterpillar. I was a staff writer on CBS's "The Inspectors," where I also directed several episodes in their final season. I regularly teach on-camera acting and voice over at undergraduate and graduate levels at University of Nevada Las Vegas.

        Acting Coaching:

Whether you're a beginner or working professional, I've had the pleasure of guiding actors toward a level of creative work that's deeper, more satisfying and leads to professional success following a story-based framework. Working one-on-one, in class settings, online or in-person, I'm happy to facilitate your experience through the process, practice and profession of acting, however it intersects with your needs.

        Voice Over Coaching:

My foothold in the entertainment industry began with voice over work. Since then, the industry has exploded with opportunity. As a creative outlet and professional enterprise, success in the field of voice over requires the creative professional to not only understand the fundamentals of acting, but also how to listen and train the ear, as well as the basics of microphone technique and rapidly advancing technology. Few aspects of the entertainment industry are as thrilling, fun and accessible as voice over.
